It is almost always with stroke that I begin to express an idea-image. Sometimes I develop it, even with words. Dreams and events in synchronicity form constellations of ideas in this process. They interweave with the 'walking' and a work is born. Artist’s books and notebooks accompany the process by supplying an Ariadne's thread in order to ensure a safe wandering, without completely losing myself. Although, I love to lose myself in the intricacies of the unconscious, I know the importance of returning to the presente, here and now, and to persevere.

É quase sempre com o traço que começo a expressar uma imagem-ideia. Às vezes desenvolvo-a, até mesmo, com palavras. Os sonhos e eventos em sincronicidade se estabelecem como constelações de ideias nesse processo. Entremeiam-se com o ‘caminhar’ e um trabalho nasce. Livros de artista e de anotações acompanham o processo fornecendo um fio de Ariadne de modo a garantir um perambular seguro, sem me perder totalmente. Embora adore me perder nos meandros do inconsciente sei a importância do voltar ao presente, aqui e agora, e perseverar.
